The breed’s coat is stained which makes the cat look like a wild cat. In reality, the cat has no wild blood. The cat is a result of crossings between Abyssinians, Siamese and American Shorthair.
Ocicat is very social, confident and sociable. It is affectionate with its family and usually also with visitors. The cat loves to socialize with people. Children, dogs or other cats are also not a problem for the ocicats.
It is a very active cat who loves playing, especially with its people.
You may also notice that the cat likes to climb to high points in the home to get a glimpse of everything going on.
